tracking

We record everything from glockenspiel to drumkit. Our live room here at Padmaloka is treated with absorbers to provide tight and warm sound. It is suitable for solo artists as well as full bands who prefer tracking their music together. We also provide wide range of high quality instruments artists can use at any time. No extra fee, all included in hourly rate.
Tracking is the final recording of individual tracks. At this stage, things like arrangement, chords, tempo, etc., should no longer need to be resolved. Emphasis is placed on perfect recording of individual instruments and vocal lines as they were prepared during pre-production. For the best result, it's essential to know the song 100% during the tracking phase.
mixing
€42 - €80/1000 CZK - 2000 CZK per song (depending on number of tracks and complexity)
5 revisions for free, then €8/200 CZK per every revision.
Our control room has been strictly designed to meet all the neccessary acoustic rules a well sounding mixing room has. This means our mixes translate well through variety of listening systems and are ready for mastering.
Mixing is the process where individual tracks recorded during tracking are combined into one cohesive whole. It's about balancing the volume levels of individual instruments and vocals, equalizing, compressing, and adding effects such as reverb or delay.
mastering
€28 / 700 per song
We do mastering as well here at Padmaloka using industry standard digital plugins.
Mastering is where the final stereo track created during mixing is amplified to the required loudness level and, if necessary, final subtle equalization and compression are applied. After mastering, the track sounds consistent, loud, clean, and professional.
